about A woman is a research series in which female artists engage in a dialogue about their position in the art world.
Around International Women's Day 2020, about A woman organizes an exhibition under the title about A woman - girlhood - at Art Space Rotterdam with the work of eight female artists. This exhibition offers a reflection on the girl from different perspectives and in different disciplines. Within the context of the exhibition, the artists will talk with invited guests, guest lecturers and the public about the position of the female artist in the contemporary art field.

Roundtable discussions
The roundtable discussions will take place on International Women's Day, Sunday 8, Saturday 14 and 21 and Sunday, March 22. 15.00 til 17.00 hrs. Around the table are the participating artists, a moderator, invited guests, and a guest speaker. Roundtable discussions will be in Dutch and are freely accessible, please make a reservation at post@aboutawoman.nl.
